I have been spending time trying to be conscious of using natural skincare products in the hope to ease my eczema that tiny bit more. The Jojoba Company have a large range of beautiful natural skincare for healthy, glowing skin.

I’ve been trialing the Jojoba Activating Cleansing oil for awhile now and let me tell you, it’s delightful. First up, it smells really good compared to some other oil cleansers and a little product goes a very long way. I tend to remove my makeup before stepping into the shower, but in the event that I forget it does gently melt away my makeup and any excess dirt and leaves my skin feeling nourished, supple and soft.

The cleanser is a fairly thick consistency, enriched with sunflower seed oil to nourish and help skin maintain moisture, plus antioxidant-rich and skin brightening mandarin.

It’s no secret that oil cleansers agree with dry, sensitive skin. Which my boyfriend has a little of so he’s also been using this one too – AND LOVES IT. He wants to repurchase it too! And as we all know, getting men to routinely use skincare let alone actually like it and want to buy it again, is a huge tick of approval.

The Jojoba Bean Natural Exfoliant is also lovely. All you do is grab a little handful and massage into damp skin. The brand advise that you mix your desired amount of natural exfoliant with Australian Wad-Wadi Jojoba oil. The exfoliant is fine and gentle, as opposed to scratchy and irritating exfoliants I have tried in the past. It smoothes whilst exfoliating, and it smells divine, very luxurious.

I used it on my body and face, my body immediately reacted in a little rash. It’s not the products fault, my body skin just doesn’t like to be exfoliated with any products. Even though it did react, I still felt as though it nourished and refined my skin. So moving forward, I would probably use it once a week on my face.

The products are both 100% Australian made, vegan, the exfoliant is in completely compostible packaging and the ingredients are all safe and clean. The cleansing oil is $39.95 for 125ml and the exfoliant is $19.95 for 200ml – which will last you forever.
