I was lucky enough to receive the Rejuvenate Eye Mask from James Cosmetics a couple of weeks ago, and good golly they are divine. They are the perfect eye mask for sensitive skin.

Before I dive into this post, can we talk about what the correct way to place an under eye mask is? When taking the cover image for this post, I had a genuine moment of panic thinking – oh my god… are they on the correct way? If there is a correct way, I would really like to be informed for future posts!

At the time that I used it, I had some dry patches of skin on my eyelids and was worried that putting any product in the general vicinity of my eyes would not end well for me. However there was no need for panic! Of course.

I don’t expect the world from an eye mask, I just sincerely hope that it doesn’t irritate my eyes. I applied the eye mask (unsure of the direction) and as I mentioned in another recent post, I am trying to make a conscious effort to incorporate my skincare routine as a part of my self-care routine. So I took the opportunity to lie down and tune into an audio book for 20 minutes.

My eyes were tired and dehydrated before I popped these on, but when I removed them my under eye area genuinely felt plump and hydrated. The eye mask is incredibly gentle and soothing, the rose essential oil and collagen not only work together to help fine lines and puffiness, but also leave your skin – sensitive or not – feeling soft and smooth.

A fun thing that I wasn’t aware of, there are actually five sets included per James Cosmetics pack. I’m not sure if I am just a little late to the party but I thought they just had one set per pack. So $30 for a pack of five, is incredibly reasonably priced.

Although I was gifted these, I would happily repurchase them and think they are a perfect little addition to a gift. They would make a lovely Mother’s Day gift, or a nice pampering gift for a new mum, or even a friend who is just having a tough time and needs to relax!
