During the week, I work a nine-to-five which I like to wear a full face of makeup to. So on the weekends, I more often than not lean towards not wearing much makeup at all. So here’s a look into a lazy weekend ‘no makeup’ makeup look.
For a base product, I will use the Sukin SPF30 Sheer Touch Tinted Sunscreen. This product is said to have been designed with the idea of daily use in mind. So it heroes natural Zinc Oxide as the active ingredient for UVA & UVB broad spectrum protection. One of the best things about it is that it is reef friendly! How amazing is that.
I have the shade in light/medium and will pop a few drops over my face and rub it in. It’s not a greasy product and I don’t find that I have to set it after its been applied. It also doesn’t leave the dreaded white sunscreen cast over your skin, and I never feel dry or tight-skinned throughout the day. This product is roughly $24.95, but is often on sale at grocery stores and Priceline and Chemist Warehouse.
I then apply the Rimmel Wonder’Full Brow 24hr brow mascara with fibres. The product is wearable for up to 24 hours, is fade-proof and showerproof. The tiny tapered brush does have fibres in it, so I just brush that through my brows and that gives me a full yet casual look. It retails for roughly $15.95 at Priceline and Chemist Warehouse, but is regularly on sale for even less. So it’s SUCH a bargain.
I then of course, cannot leave the house without a lick of mascara on. At the moment I am using up a sample of this Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara. It is a beautiful, lengthening mascara that provides instant volume and leaves me feeling like I have longer, plumper lashes.
That’s literally it!
Thanks for taking the time to read this post, a look into a lazy weekend ‘no makeup’ makeup look!
Until next time,

[…] and further into lockdown, the need for makeup becomes less and less of a priority. As we know from previous posts, I would pop a CC cream on the weekends as I would want to give my skin as much of a break as […]
